Seminar on entrepreneurship and youth leadership


Next Tuesday (4), the Economic Development Agency Local (Adel) conducts the seminar All Can Undertake: Entrepreneurship and Leadership of adolescents and youth resilience. The event, national character, starts from the 4:00 pm, at the Teatro Celina Queiroz, located at the University of Fortaleza (Unifor), in Fortaleza, not Ceará.

The Seminar, that is already with registration open, will discuss about successful experiences that support for adolescents and youth resilience can take the first step in relation to entrepreneurship. One of the experiences that will be shared, the Rural young entrepreneur Program (PJER) developed by Adel for 10 years in nine municipalities of the State of Ceará.

The experience of PJER was the inspiration for the production of the book “All Can Undertake – Entrepreneurship and Leadership for adolescents and young people”, to be launched during the event. The book was produced by Adel in partnership with the ChildFund Brazil, shares in addition to stories of young entrepreneurs, the main concepts and information necessary to undertake.

The event has national and local speakers. Helen Singer, Leader for the Youth strategy in Ashoka Latin America; Tião Rock, Anthropologist, Popular educator and Social Entrepreneur; e, Gerson Pacheco, ChildFund Brazil Director, are among the exhibitors of the seminar. The programming has two panels.

The first Panel discusses the topic “Entrepreneurship and social innovation for youth and adolescents in the current Brazilian context”, with the collaboration of Gerson Pacheco, ChildFund Brazil Director; Dr. José Carlos Lázaro, Associate Professor of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), leader of the Group of studies on innovation and sustainability (INOS/UFC); Gláucio Gomes, Director of Development Adel; e, Thom Oliveira, Founder and Executive Director of Social Brasilis. The Prof. Dr. Dakkak Mulling of PPG in the administration of the UNIFORM will be the mediator.

“Entrepreneurship education and role of adolescents and youth resilience” It will be the second panel moderated by journalist and Director of Eco Agency Northeast, Maristela Chua. Will have the participation of Helen Singer; Tião Rock; Rogers Mendes, Executive Secretary of the high school of SEDUC/EC; e, Sabrina Santos, Young entrepreneur and creator of the flower of the outback.

The event will bring together various institutions and people interested in the subject and promote discussion, the debate and the dissemination of current knowledge and experience working with entrepreneurship and social protagonism of adolescents and youth in Brazil. Participate in entrepreneurs, Brazilian researchers and scholars to think the Multiplicities of entrepreneurs, the processes of formation of these young, challenges and solutions developed in high resilience, both urban rural.

The event has as a partner the ChilFund Brazil and the support of the University of Fortaleza (Unifor) and the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) through the Faculty of Economics, Administration, Actuarial and accounting (FEAAC).
