Access to credit for women entrepreneurs

Young people at Pentecost/EC for the signing of credit access contracts

This month, we perform at our head, on Pentecost/EC, the signing of the contracts and terms for the release of credit through the Footpaths background, our own microcredit initiative for young rural entrepreneurs. Seven young people, all women, submitted their Business Projects, prepared at the end of the formation of the Rural Young Entrepreneur Program (PJER), analysis with the Fund Committee, all were approved and the young women were awarded the financial resource.

In may, the PJER class completed the formative stage in Sao Gonçalo do Amarente/CE, the beneficiaries of the credit reside in rural communities of the municipality and act in areas such as makeup, beauty salon, sale of homemade cakes, children's clothes and decoration items.

Seven entrepreneurs were awarded credit

For entrepreneur Sabrina Castro, 18, creator of Studio Sabrina Castro, the credit arrived at a good time. "I've done eyelash extension courses, makeup and eyebrows, i'm in the beauty area there 1 year. From access to credit, I want to expand and further improve my enterprise, I am grateful to Adel for the opportunity", reinforces the young woman who resides in Croatá.

This class has the support of the CMDCA (Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents) of São Gonçalo do Amarante/CE. It also provides for the stimulus for the creation and development of Local Productive Arrangements (APLs) young people from rural communities, in order to insert its enterprises and activities into value chains in the region. This class stands out for being composed mostly of women who seek to better structure their enterprises, generate more income and sustainability for their families.
