Selected for the Young Rural Entrepreneur Program (PJER)

We announce the list of young people selected for the new class of our Rural Young Entrepreneur Program (PJER), with exclusive focus on the municipality of São Gonçalo do Amarante/CE. More than 50 people from 14 local communities, aged 18 e 32 years, participated in the selection.

The selection process was composed of two steps: completing the online registration form and on-site interviews with young people and their families. The interviews were conducted by our Programs team and took place over the past few weeks, respecting all health and safety care of the pandemic context. The visit helps to understand the context of each young person, their difficulties and potentialities.

The new class will consist of thirty (30) people who will receive support to undertake and implement their project of socio-productive inclusion in their communities. Young people participate in, initially, do Protagonism and Entrepreneurship course on Business and Socio-Environmental Impact. Soon we will announce the date and place of the inaugural class.

After the course and with the Business Project at hand, young people can access financial resources in the Footpaths background, our microcredit strategy. This class has the support of the CMDCA (Municipal Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents) of São Gonçalo do Amarante/CE, we also had the collaboration of the Pecém Families Association (ASFAP, New Year).
